How can my business participate in the Welcome Expo?
Businesses have the option of being an event sponsor and having their business name listed on the event shirts and/or reserving a table at the Welcome Expo. A table reservation will allow you to showcase your business on the UCF campus and pass out promotional materials like coupons, flyers, or giveaways.
What are my options for participation?
Interested vendors will be able to participate in the 2009 Welcome Expo in several ways by:
- donating promotional prizes to be used as door prizes and prizes during the trivia game and/or
- being a sponsor and reserving your business name on the back of the event shirt which will be worn by all professional staff at the event and on shirts given to attendees and/or
- by reserving a table for the event. A table reservation at the expo will allow you to promote your business on the UCF campus, distribute coupons and flyers, and showcase merchandise. Tables will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
How will my business benefit from participation in the Welcome Expo?
The Welcome Expo draws a large crowd of UCF students- over 4,000 students attended last year’s expo. Additionally, this event draws a large number of freshmen who are new to the UCF and Central Florida area. Since the Welcome Expo is held during the first week of fall classes, many of these students have been in the area for less than a week and are still discovering the places where they would like to eat, shop, etc. Your participation in the Welcome Expo will provide exposure to your business to this group of students as well as returning students and faculty and staff.
How can I register my business for the 2009 Welcome Expo?
Please click on the “Vendor Registration Form” link on this page. The Registration Form includes pricing and deadlines and should be completed online or faxed back to our office. The registration deadline is Friday, August 14, 2009.
